All team activities are shown on the team’s Google calendar. You can get to this view several ways:
- Go to the MEMBER tab on the website and select Google Worksite…the calendar appears on the home dipslay.
- Go to the team website and click on the CALENDAR tab.
- Bookmark the team Google Worksite at https://sites.google.com/site/auroramedteam/
Once you have popped up the activity box don’t forget to click on the DETAILS to get more information.
It is important that you respond to all event invitations, even if you are not going. When you are added to an event you will receive an invite email. This email will show the activity, date, times, and some details in the description. This email invite is only valid for a few weeks so if you wait too long you won’t be able to make an initial response using that email link. However, if you respond from that email link right away you can keep it in your inbox and use it to update/change your status right up until the activity happens.
You can respond to invitations at any time without using invite emails. The steps are:
- Go to your Google Calendar at www.google.com and sign in (upper right corner). Important: You can’t respond using the view of the team calendar (which is deplayed by the web and the member’s worksite). You must use your calendar.
- Use the pull down on the top black bar to select CALENDAR.
- Any team event that you are invited to will appear on your calendar. Navigate to the right date and click on the activity. A box should pop up.
- In the lower left corner of the box is your attendance status. You can answer YES, NO, or MAYBE. If you are an explorer who wants to attend, but need to check with parents, please answer MAYBE. This lets us know you are a “possible” to attend and we will send you updates and information.
The Activity Information Summary (AIS) contains information about an upcoming activity. AMT staff and project officers usually publish an AIS for all significant activities. The AIS information is found on the team’s Google Worksite. Check out the left column…active AIS entries should be right at the top. Just click on the one you want and read or print. Please share this information with parents or ride givers! The AIS will also include links to relavant web site or attached documents.

- Remember, this is not public information so don’t throw out paper copies in public trash bins. Give out information to non-team members only with the member’s permission.
- There is a PRINT button on the bottom of the page to produce a printable display. We recommend you use the PRINT PREVIEW option in your browser which will allow you to print landscape and shrink the text to minimize pages.
- If you have a change in your information (phone, address, etc…) please let Operations know. We want to keep this information current!
- The “+” after a name indicates the member has completed the Medical Team rating.
